The Bendigo Tech School Student Ambassadors have been working with the Discovery Science and Technology Centre on a new exhibition. Thanks to Flynn (Year 11, Catherine McAuley College) for providing an update on the project.

“Our Ambassadors have been working hard on 3D modelling and development of their replica model of Bendigo’s CBD, working towards the end goal of demonstrating what a sustainable future for Bendigo looks like. The BTS staff generously took photos along High Street to aid us in our modelling and research. We’re progressing well, with over half of the models created and printed. As we wrap up the modelling side of the project, we will shift to augmenting our experience and portraying the future of Bendigo through Dream AR. We have multiple workshops with industry experts planned to engage us and help us learn more about this technology. 

We look forward to finalising this project and continue working with the Discovery Centre to deliver it to the Bendigo community and inspire our community to work towards sustainability in our city.”
